In this post, I am going to share with you 7 ways you can grow your email list FAST!
But, first I will explain to you how exactly you will collect all of your subscriber’s emails….
What is needed to collect the emails?
What is an AutoResponder?!
It’s an online service which allows you to collect your emails and store them in your (AutoResponder) account.
There are a lot of AutoResponder services you can choose from.
Among the most known ones are:
ConvertKit – This AutoResponder is one of the most known ones among many bloggers (I personally use them! 😉 And am very pleased with them!). But, If you are just starting out, you can also use some free options….but I highly recommend this one! 🙂 Becuase it’s an AutoResponder that was built expecially for bloggers!
The starting price for ConverKit is $29.
MailerLite – This is the one that I used when I was a beginner blogger! 😉 It’s FREE for your first 1000 subscribers and after that, they offer reasonable prices which will help you to lower your blogging expenses.
It’s very easy to learn and use!
MailChimp – You can create a free account up to 2000 Subscribers and after that, you will need to pay ( MailerLite is cheaper than MailChimp)
Now, you probably are asking…

So, here are some AWESOME ways you can do so…
7 Ways to collect your emails and GROW your Email list FAST!
1. Offering a “freebie” to your readers
One of the most common ways bloggers collect emails is by offering a freebie to their readers.
Think about a specific problem that your readers might have and give them a free PDF/video that they can download that will give them the for their specific problem.
For example, if your niche is traveling, and you have many parents that follow your blog because you share with them useful information on how to be parents that travel with their kids.
A great freebie you can offer to your readers would be “How to travel with your kids – 10 amazing tips and tricks that will help you plan your trip better and your kids will enjoy every moment traveling with you!”
See the “problem” here? Traveling with kids, your helpful solution is “10 amazing tips and tricks that will help you plan your trip better with your kids!”
If you can’t think of any specific problem that you have the solution for your readers, then you can simply offer them a freebie that shares with them valuable information which will give them a “shortcut” along with their journey.
For example, your niche is cooking and recipes. You know that your main audience is women and most of them are moms. A great freebie you can offer to your readers could be “List of groceries you MUST have at home in order to create delicious meals every day!” (Now, for me personally, that would be an AMAZING offer! I would definitely sign up to download that list! 😉 )
A GREAT tip that will help you come up with your own “freebie” that you can offer to your readers is to think of what would you sign up for? What would sound like a good “freebie” for yourself! 😉
2. Offer a mini-course/ challenge
Another great option to grow your email list would be creating a free mini-course/challenge that will be sent to your subscribers via email!
What’s awesome about this is that you will need to create the email sequence once! And when someone subscribes to the mini-course/challenge it will be automatically sent to them!
These emails sequences are “set and forget” type of emails – which is AWESOME and very productive! 🙂
People LOVE free mini-courses and challenges! Therefore it will be worth your time and effort that you invest in creating the mini course/challenge!
If you have your own product that you created, a great way to promote your product will be by creating a mini-course, that will share with them valuable information before they will need your product.
This will help you gain your readers trust in you in order for them to be ready and buy your product from you.
For example, if your niche is “budgeting” – and you have a course (it’s not a must to have a course in order to create a mini-course!) about “How to budget the right way when you have a family”
An example of a mini-course you can offer to your readers could be ” 5 steps that are necessary to create the right budget for you” – Then you will create an email series that will be sent to them 5 days (each day) after they subscribed to your list.
I think that this is a GREAT way to grow your email list FAST! 🙂
Webinars are a wonderful way to grow your list! People LOVE free stuff so you will want to create a webinar that is packed with a ton of valuable information in it in order to gain trust with your audience.
You will need to put the time and work into creating your content and presentation so I would say you should give yourself at least 2 weeks to work on it and start promoting it in Facebook groups, Pinterest, Twitter….
If you are having a hard time coming up with content for a webinar, try to learn what are some pain points your readers are having within your niche.
You can send your subscribers a survey or an email to asking them with what are they struggling the most at the moment what they would love to know/learn more about?
And if that didn’t really help, (I mean no one takes the survey or replies to your email) then look around, try and see what other bloggers in your niche are offering as a webinar (DO NOT copy their content!). Just check and see if it might be a great webinar idea for you and create your own webinar! 😉
Now, did I tell you that people love FREE stuff?!
Yep, they sure do! 🙂
If you are asking yourself what is a “giveaway” – a giveaway is creating a campaign that offers something for free! It could be a free course (your course or a blogger that is willing to give his course for free), or you can buy a few physical products and give them away. (giveaway! 😉 )
You will want to make sure that you create a landing page in order for you to promote the giveaway properly. (MailerLite has an option to create landing pages with their AutoResponder service! you can use it even if you have a free account with them! Which is totally AWESOME!)
5. Notifying the upcoming of a new course you are creating
This one is a great way to see if anyone is interested in your upcoming course. You can create a landing page, even if you didn’t start creating your course in order to see if it will be worth your time and effort creating such a course.
I know one blogger who started her blog business with a landing page (Yep, she didn’t even have a blog yet!).
She had a landing page, telling people to sign up to her course – and she will inform them when the course is on sale!
She had AMAZING results with this technique!
What’s great about this technique is that you are building your email list fast and you also can see if your course (that you want to create) is something that is really worth creating! ( The last thing you want is to create a course that no one is interested in! Creating a course is time-consuming! So before you waste your time, Please do your research correctly! )
The other great thing about this is that you will get some buyers for the new course because they are the ones that signed up to it! Therefore, they are interested in your course before you created it! Now, that’s AWESOME! 😉 Right?!
6. Content upgrades
If you have a blog post and you think that you can help your readers with a little “checklist” or anything that will help them make a “shortcut” – Content upgrades are a MUST!
This little trick will grow your email list on autopilot!
All you have to do is create the document once, and upload it to your blog post, create an eye-catching web form in order to grab your readers attention and that’s it! You “set it” and “forget it!”

7. Blog Party!
Now this one is a UNIQUE technique which I am sure you never heard of! Right?!
So, what exactly is a “Blog Party”?!?!?!?!??!!
If you think for a moment that this is the same as a “Link Party” then I just want to let you know that these are two totally different things!
Link parties are a mix of all kind of blog posts that are published in only 1 blog post of the blogger hosting the link party!
Blog Parties are a series of blog post that is posted on the blog of the blogger who is hosting the party and blog parties are such an AMAZING way to GROW your list FAST and also gain a huge amount of traffic to your blog!
